27 Sep Not your Typical Real Estate Drone video
Here in the Southern Californian real estate market, there’s been a substantial growth in the use of drone video to help market the sale of homes. I love offering my seller clients drone videos as part of a larger real estate marketing plan, and the overall marketing effectiveness of producing them for my clients’ listings is undoubtedly noticeable.
After many successful listing campaigns, I thought; “Why do sellers’ get to have all the fun?” That’s when I won the opportunity to help an amazing newlywed couple purchase their first home.
I wanted to surprise my clients’ with something special and different, as a sort of ‘thank you’ for trusting me with the purchase of their first home. It occurred to me that I could use my drone in an innovative way, this time, not for listings, but to document the progress of my buyers’ home construction, from dirt-lot to completion.
Over the course of 9 months, I visited the KB Home construction site and compiled a 4-minute YouTube video that you can view below. In addition to the construction of the home, I took footage of the new community, showcasing the master planned area of Park Place at Ontario Ranch, the beautiful park, and fantastic clubhouse facility.
I surprised my clients with this video the same day we closed on the property and was very humbled by their positive response. I’m filled with joy knowing they will always have a wonderful digitally logged memory that they can share with their future children.
There’s nothing quite like your first home, and thanks to affordable drone technology, being able to document how that first-home became, is something quite special.
